Downtown Grass Valley has a wonderful event called Cornish Christmas. Every year vendors who make things by hand are invited to participate. It is a great place to get all your Christmas gifts. Plus you are supporting local business. Thank you to all who stopped by my booth tonight! If you cannot make it to this event you can order through my online store!
I love spending time with my family. Especially because they live so far away. We had good food, and a good visit. Then we spent time at the children’s museum in Tucson. That was a fun place. If you are in Tucson then maybe you can check it out. I scored a picture of my grandpa when he was in the navy. I also got a picture of my brother. Did you know 5 generations of my family have served our country? What holiday would be complete without shooting some targets and trying different guns? Well it was a lot of fun!
Thank you to all the men and women who are serving our country! I can’t express how grateful I am to you. I thank the good Lord for placing people who sacrifice a lot of holidays to keep our country safe.
I love the foaming soap. It’s so nice and lathers well. I made four different scents. Lavender herb, lemon grass, aloe and clover, and cool cucumber.
Candles poured by hand take a lot of time to make. After the fragrance is tested and the wick is checked.. then labeling and off to market. Coming to my store soon coconut wax candles.
What is emulsified salt scrub? It’s a exfoliating lotion/soap that you rinse off in the bath or shower. Your shin will be so soft after you use it. Winter is so drying. Treat your skin to some moisture!
This week has been extremely busy! I made some shampoo and conditioner that is in the testing phase and so far so good! I also packaged up some shower steamers. Made some salt scrub bars and my wonderful grandson had his third birthday! All this in the last two weeks! I meet with a new soapmaker and we had a wonderful chat abut soap making.
When I’m not making soap I am knitting these wash cloths. They take a lot of time to make. Maybe I’ll get faster at knitting as time goes on. I got a few made and I will hopefully have enough for Christmas time!
This orange blossom soap is sure to energize your shower. The scent has orange with a hint of jasmine. I can’t wait to try this one out. Soap has to cure for at least four weeks! This soap will be ready in about three more weeks.
Hi! I'm Staci from Staci's Homemade Soap! I LOVE making soap and I love the way my skin feels. Unlike store bought soap, my soap does not dry the skin! A natural product of soap making is glycerin! And skin loves it! Also goats milk is good for your skin. Goats milk has minerals in it and is loaded with vitamins .Goats milk also contains lactic acid, which is an alpha hydroxy acid....Goats milk soap is wonderful. I encourage you to try some! My goats milk lotion is a soothing moisturizer for dry skin. Since goats milk has selenium and vitamin A in it your skin will be happy and nourished.
