Today I thought I would post a video on some doggy shampoo paste that I have cooking in the crock pot. My dog George has some really dry irritated skin right now. I have supplemented his diet with fish oil, but in the mean time I want to make a soothing shampoo for him.I will dilute the paste, and add some essential oils like lavender, chamomile, and maybe some eucalyptus. This shampoo has honey, oat milk, clay, lard, jojoba, wheat germ, peach kernel oil, castor and glycerin. i do not think I will be able to get a clear paste because of my additives. That is okay! I am just hoping I can help George!
Hi! I'm Staci from Staci's Homemade Soap! I LOVE making soap and I love the way my skin feels. Unlike store bought soap, my soap does not dry the skin! A natural product of soap making is glycerin! And skin loves it! Also goats milk is good for your skin. Goats milk has minerals in it and is loaded with vitamins .Goats milk also contains lactic acid, which is an alpha hydroxy acid....Goats milk soap is wonderful. I encourage you to try some! My goats milk lotion is a soothing moisturizer for dry skin. Since goats milk has selenium and vitamin A in it your skin will be happy and nourished.
