This week has been extremely busy! I made some shampoo and conditioner that is in the testing phase and so far so good! I also packaged up some shower steamers. Made some salt scrub bars and my wonderful grandson had his third birthday! All this in the last two weeks! I meet with a new soapmaker and we had a wonderful chat abut soap making.
When I’m not making soap I am knitting these wash cloths. They take a lot of time to make. Maybe I’ll get faster at knitting as time goes on. I got a few made and I will hopefully have enough for Christmas time!
This orange blossom soap is sure to energize your shower. The scent has orange with a hint of jasmine. I can’t wait to try this one out. Soap has to cure for at least four weeks! This soap will be ready in about three more weeks.
I do make other products. This lip care is some of the best. Zinc oxide, coconut oil, bees wax, avocado oil, and olive oil sure are soothing on your lips. This particular batch has essential oils of eucalyptus, peppermint, and camphor. Some vanilla balances it out. Your lips will be so happy if you use my lip bliss.
I love making soap! I also like to go camping at the ocean! Relaxing by the ocean.. hanging out with family. Resting helps me to be more productive. Dillons Beach is down by San Francisco. We drove through some beautiful wine and farm country. We were able to catch some red rock crab. All in all a wonderful Labor Day weekend!
Every single bar of soap gets quality testing in the shower. Lather, scent, and size of bar are all evaluated. Hopefully they are up to my high standards. I even test the liquid soap that I make. If the soap passes then I put it in the store or sell it at the market.
Pumpkin pie time! These soaps are made with pumpkin purée and scented with pumpkin pie spice! They smell so good I want to eat them (but won’t)! I will also be starting wax melts with fall scents..
This lemongrass scented soap smells amazing! The lather is so nice and creamy. I love the goat milk, tallow, coconut oil, and palm kernel oil together..The green clay adds a nice accent in the middle of the soap. This is one of my favorite combinations!
Joe wanted some liquid shampoo. I took my shampoo bar recipe and turned it to liquid soap. I used a cold process to make the paste. It is currently sequestered because soap gets better with time. I will bottle it up in a few days a test some fragrance made of essential oil blends. If testing works out it will be for sale soon!
Hi! I'm Staci from Staci's Homemade Soap! I LOVE making soap and I love the way my skin feels. Unlike store bought soap, my soap does not dry the skin! A natural product of soap making is glycerin! And skin loves it! Also goats milk is good for your skin. Goats milk has minerals in it and is loaded with vitamins .Goats milk also contains lactic acid, which is an alpha hydroxy acid....Goats milk soap is wonderful. I encourage you to try some! My goats milk lotion is a soothing moisturizer for dry skin. Since goats milk has selenium and vitamin A in it your skin will be happy and nourished.
