Bath bombs are a lot of fun in the tub! They fizz apart and leave you skin so soft and they smell amazing!! I use baking soda, citric acid, cream of tartar, red castor oil, witch hazel, mica, and fragrance or essential oils. I use these when I can and they are truly wonderful..
Todays venue is small but has been busy! You just never know where your success is gonna come from. If you order $50.00 of product you will get a free shopping bag! This week only!
Strawberry and vanilla lip bliss. This lip moistener makes your lips feel nice and loved! I love avacado oil and olive oil. Great for your skin and your lips. I also made orange flavored.
I also did another try at hot process shampoo bars. I am determined to make these work and I am getting close to offering a product I really like!
I just love this cream. It is simple to make and of so wonderful on your skin! Beeswax, coconut oil, avacado oil, and olive oil make this a treat for dry skin. It is not emulsified and it is not as hard as a lotion bar. It is somewhat soft so your body heat melts it and you then rub it in to your skin. Skin fabulous!
I got this order for gift baskets. They will be prizes for the games you play at a baby shower. I am so pleased with how these turned out. I painted the tin part to match the theme of the shower. I made ombré soap to go inside. These baskets contain a good sample of the products I make!
Baby shower gift packs.
My daughter in law hired me to make some gift baskets for her sisters baby shower. She plans to give them out as prizes. I bought small metal containers off of Amazon. Then I painted them to match the shower theme. Once they were dry I added the goodies.
I had this bright idea to make a toilet cleaning bomb! So far it seems to be working.
Here is my recipie if you want to try making them!
1 brownie bite pan or mold of your choice
1cup citric acid
2 cups baking soda
1 teaspoon dish soap
bleach in a spray bottle ( use in well ventilated area)
Add baking soda and citric acid to a stand mixer with a wire whisk attached. Turn mixer on low speed and add dish soap. Let this mix well. Start spraying mixture with bleach. DO NOT OVER SPRAY MIXTURE! Once it is the consistency of wet sand pack tightly into mold. Allow to dry over night. Carefully unmolded. Store in air tight container until needed. I find two squares work well!
Round five of the shampoo bar.... I'm getting closer to a recipe that I like! This time I am trying rice milk to see if my hair likes it. It takes about thirty days for my hair to adjust to new shampoo. So each round I make takes time to test. Once I get the soap the way I like it I will offer it for sale!
I have two dogs which I love dearly! Unfortunately though my house smells well doggy sometimes! I make a carpet fresh to help make the house smell nice.
