I made some green tea and rose water face cream. I had some leftover so I decided to make a shampoo base with it. I did some research on some of the benefits of using rose water on your hair. According to the great Google(haha) rose water replenishes lost moisture, helps to reduce dandruff, and increase scalp circulation to encourage hair growth. Well that sounds like I need to try! So onto soap making. I first went to my soap calculator and made a recipe. I used a tiny bit of coconut oil but not too much as I find it drying. Avocado, olive, lots of castor oil ( to help encourage hair growth) meadow foam seed, honey, and zinc oxide to tone down the pinkness of the rose water. Stay turned for results.
Hi! I'm Staci from Staci's Homemade Soap! I LOVE making soap and I love the way my skin feels. Unlike store bought soap, my soap does not dry the skin! A natural product of soap making is glycerin! And skin loves it! Also goats milk is good for your skin. Goats milk has minerals in it and is loaded with vitamins .Goats milk also contains lactic acid, which is an alpha hydroxy acid....Goats milk soap is wonderful. I encourage you to try some! My goats milk lotion is a soothing moisturizer for dry skin. Since goats milk has selenium and vitamin A in it your skin will be happy and nourished.
