This is a general description on how to make soap. Please review soap making videos and lye safety on you tube.
I like Soaping 101 and Soapqueen but there are many to watch!
Check your recipe with a soap calculator like the one at soapcalc.net. Once you get a few batches under your belt you can use milk and colorants.
Be sure to measure out in ounces or grams (your preference) your fat, liquid, and lye. Wearing your gloves,
add lye to your water in a well ventilated area. Carefully stir until lye and water are clear. Take your solid oils and measure them out. Melt them over low heat. Add your liquid oils. Now wait until temperature falls below 100 degrees Fahrenheit on both your lye solution and your oils. Carefully add lye solution to your fats. I pour mine in the sink. Use your stick blender to combine soap to trace(pudding (consistency). Add fragrance or essential oil and stir well by hand with a spatula. Add to your mold. I use silicon molds so I do not need to line them with freezer paper. Tap mold on counter top carefully to remove air bubbles.
Cut your soap 12-24 hours later. Let it cure for at least 4 weeks. Enjoy.
